Six Degrees of Separation

“Six Degrees of Separation.”

That was the subject line in Robin’s email last week. Here is what she had to say:

“Hi Dena, not too long ago I posted in the KCCure patient support community that I was at Georgetown for my appointment/infusion. It was noticed by another member, Jessica.  She clicked on my profile and found that we have a mutual friend.

patient supportThe mutual friend turned out to be my daughter Candice. Since then, we have been talking back and forth on messenger and I’ve been offering her advice and sharing my experience.

Yesterday, our appointments intersected, and we were able to meet in person and even have our infusions together.

Jessica told me how KCCure was instrumental in helping her get in to see Dr. Atkins after her diagnosis and how she is now participating in a clinical trial.

I thought this story would make you smile as a testimony to the difference that KCCure makes in our lives.

Robin is right.  It does make me smile.
