Debbie Gottsleben reached out to KCCure with a mission in mind. Having been misdiagnosed with kidney cancer and undergone surgery for what was ultimately an oncocytoma, she wanted to extend advocacy to patients with benign renal masses and increase our outreach to the urology community.
Since joining KCCure, she has single-handedly built the first ever community dedicated to patients with oncocytoma, angiomyolipoma and other renal masses, conducted survey research in the field of benign renal masses and presented data at the American Urological Association’s annual meeting. She leads our efforts in educating patients about the latest techniques in imaging and surgical practices and serves as a liaison to the urology community.
She is also the queen of twitter.
