Federal Funding for Kidney Cancer Research

KCCure is a proud supporter of the CDMRP (Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program) KCRP (Kidney Cancer Research Program).  In addition to joining with partner organizations to advocate for increased funding, we also represent patients on the KCRP Programmatic Panel and sponsor Consumer Reviewers for the program.

What is the KCRP (Kidney Cancer Research Program)?

The KCRP is a federally directed program that provides funding for kidney cancer research aimed at prevention, detection, treatment and the long-term effects of treatment for kidney cancer for Service Members, Veterans, their families and the American Public.

For FY2020, Congress has allocated $40 million in funding for research.  If you’re a researcher, learn more about funding opportunities here!
